Racing Review - The Ladbrokes Go North Finals

Lucinda Russell enjoyed a great day at Musselburgh as Spit Spot, Kingston James and Chanonry Point combined to supply her with a 60/1 treble. 

The middle leg was ridden to victory by Alan Doyle in the Racing Post Go North Sea Pigeon Hurdle Series Final.

“He did the job nicely in the end and this will have done his confine the world of good,” he said. “The ground suited him and he’s a horse that couple have a bright future."

James Bowen and Nicky Henderson teamed up with Fierce Warrior, their only horse on the card to land the Ladbrokes Go North Brindisi Breeze Hurdle Series Final.

“I tried to keep up away from the others up the centre of the track and then launch him on the run-in and it all worked out perfectly,” Bowen reported.

And Inappropriate made a successful debut in handicap company when taking the Ladbrokes Go North Grey Bomber Juvenile Hurdle Series Final for Jedd O’Keeffe and Conor O’Farrell.
