Start 2026 in style at our New Year's Day race meeting. The day will be filled with great racing and prize money worth over £100,000 including the Auld Reekie Handicap Chase and Hogmaneigh Hurdle, live entertainment, marquee's, our winter fashion competition with fantastic prizes and plenty of festive food and drink. Children 17 years and under go free, when accompanied by a guardian. This event is likely to sell-out so please ensure you secure your child tickets in advance. Child and concession tickets will not be available on the day.
Some frequently asked questions:
- Who is entitled to a Childs ticket and how much does it cost? Children 17 and under are entitled to a child’s ticket. Valid ID for teenagers may be requested and will need to be provided to obtain a child’s ticket. Child’s tickets are free of charge, subject to availability. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult who is 18 years or over.
- On New Year's Day, we have a limited number of complimentary Personal Assistant tickets. These can only be obtained with a valid Carer’s ID or other carer documentation when accompanying a paying adult. Due to New Years Day being an annual sell-out, our Personal Assistant tickets will be on a first come, first served basis. They will not be available on the raceday and must be obtained in advance. Purchase your ticket before midnight on the 6th September and SAVE £15.50. On the day price will be £50.00.

£0.00Our standard Child ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas. You can obtain four child tickets, per adult/concession ticket or foodie experience.
Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested and, if so, must be provided. You are responsible for each child that you bring onto the Racecourse and shall ensure each child complies with these Conditions. Please ensure you’ve read and fully understand our terms and conditions.

£30.00Our Concession ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas and a variety of options for places to eat, drink and bet.
Book before midnight 6th September and SAVE £12.50pp. This event is likely to sell-out and if this happens, tickets will not be available on the gate, on the day.
Please Note: Appropriate Photo ID will be required when entering the racecourse for Concession tickets purchased.
Eligibility for concessions:
- Students: only with a valid student ID featuring a valid expiry date
- Senior citizens, aged over 65 with proof
- Carers go free with a valid Carer’s ID or other carer documentation when accompanying a paying adult or concession, except on Ladies Day.
