New Year's Day Meeting 2025

Our Early Bird ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas and a variety of options for places to eat, drink and bet.

Purchase your ticket before midnight on the 6th September and SAVE £15.00. On the day price will be £47.00.

Children 17 years and under go free, when accompanied by a guardian. Child tickets can be obtained on the day of racing.

Our standard Child ticket is a general admission ticket that provides access to all public areas. You can obtain four child tickets, per adult/concession ticket or foodie experience. 

Children under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of age may be requested and, if so, must be provided. You are responsible for each child that you bring onto the Racecourse and shall ensure each child complies with these Conditions. Please ensure you’ve read and fully understand our terms and conditions. 

Dine in style, in our Epperston Restaurant ~ perfect for intimate gatherings of 2-8 people. Situated on the lower floor of our Queen's Stand, offering stunning views across the winning post, the racecourse, and the parade ring - our Queen's Stand has a real royal flare. Opened by the late Elizabeth II, it is rich in racing heritage and tradition.

Entertain guests with a fine dining Epperston Hospitality Package and enjoy:

• Your reserved table provides a base for the day.* 
• Pommery Champagne reception.
• A New Year three-course menu prepared and served by Heritage Portfolio.
• A locally sourced cheese selection or an Afternoon Sweet Treat.

Our restaurant package includes VIP admission, a table for the day, a raceday programme, Pommery Champagne reception, an exquisite fine dining three-course menu with a traditional Scottish New Year’s twist, followed by a locally sourced cheese board. Finished off with tea and coffee and Scottish tablet. Enjoy a private bar, Tote betting and racecourse TV.  You'll also enjoy a guest Tipster Talk. 

Please note, you will be on a shared table. Please do get in touch if you've any questions hospitality@musselburgh-racecourse.co.uk.  There is a minimum booking of two people. If you require a private table, please purchase ten guest places and we will ensure this is for your party only. 

Enjoy the most exclusive and elegant location on New Year's Day. Our private Queen's Stand Suites are the ultimate jewel in our crown. With balcony views across the racecourse, the final furlong, you can soak up the atmosphere while you and your guests enjoy a memorable raceday experience.

A Pommery Grand Cru Vintage champagne reception is hosted in your private suite. Followed by luxurious canapes and a traditional new year three-course fine dining Scottish menu, with a locally sourced cheese board.
